i am hearing my heartbeat in my ear (i think right ear only). it seemed to have started in the morning after drinking alcohol at night. i don't know if it is related with that consumption but should i have to worry and need to seek medical help? thnx?

: Alcohol use can cause dehydration. Dehydration can lead to eustacian tube dysfunction in the ear. Try focusing today on hydration by drinking up to 3 liters of non-caffeinated fluids (esp water) to see if this corrects the problem. If it persists, see your GP for examination and diagnosis.

some mornings i feel/hear some fluid in my ear canal. q-tip appears yellowish. dries up and crusts around opening during day. no pain. what gives?

SUPPURATIVE O.M.: Careful with this kind of ear infection. It can cause meningitis if untreated.

Eustachian tube: if your eustchian tubes are collapsed, you might try using a topical decongestant for a few days and autoinsufflating several times a day

No: One feature of middle ear infections is the accumulation of mucous and puss in the middle ear space. This transiently reduces hearing up to 40%or so. It can remain for a week or two (6 in babies) after you kill all the germs because the material must drain through your Eustachian tube to the throat and be displaced by air.Abx kill germs but the rest can take time.

i've been fainting since i was 12. i get dizzy, start sweating, get weak, can't hear out of my ear then fall out. what is the proper diagnosis for it..?

Difficult to say: Sounds like fainting attacks but a seizure disorder cannot be ruled out with this information see a neurologist!

: Sinusitis appears likely among others. A focused exam and detailed history would be recommended with your doc or a local urgent care in order to assess for treatment with antibiotics and/or steroids.

Ear infection: You most likely have chronic otitis media, which is a chronic middle ear infection.

You need to see an otolaryngology professional and obtain a hearing test and a ct scan.

You may need surgery.

At the least, you will need to be on dry ear precautions.  Antibiotic ear drops and antibiotics and steroids by mouth are also used.

Conductive?: The carotid artery and jugular vein travel in close proximity to your inner ear.  When the conduction mechanism bringing sound from outside to your inner ear is impaired, the internal sounds, such as your heartbeat, gets amplified. Thus, you hear your heartbeat.

Tinnitus is a: condition of the ear that causes sounds like buzzing, ringing, etc.  It MAY be produced by being around loud sounds.  Please see your doc for diagnosis and treatment.  Peace and good health.
