itchy eyes for the past few months. went to optom and they prescribed fucithalmic ointment. did help a bit, but after using for a month still itches?

Allergic?: May be allergic conjunctivitis which is related to hayfever and may respond better to topical or oral antihistamines, or topical cromoglycate or in extreme cases require topical steroid drops and may explain why didn't quite improve with the fucithalmic antibiotic.  Worth getting a doctor examination to confirm this diagnosis exclude alternative possibilities  and work out best treatment.

Viral or allergic: Suggest taking your temperature to try to distinguish the two. Try salt water gargles and other supportive treatments to keep more comfortable.

Anti-histamine: Red itchy watery eyes, itchy nose, sneezing, and itchy throat can all be symptoms of allergic rhinitis or hayfever.  You can try over-the-counter antihistamines such as Diphenhydramine or Cetirizine to alleviate those symptoms.  Symptoms that persist or are severe should be seen promptly by a medical professional.

Allergies: This sounds like you have some allergies.   Dust in homes can be tainted with lead dust, cockroach dander, pet dander, cigarrette smoke, among other toxins and allergic offenders.  You need a whopping dose of antihistamine now, say 10 mg cetirizine by mouth.  I am worried a little about your chest pain, especially if you have asthma.  Do you have an albuterol inhaler at home with spacer?

Doubt it: The limited location &amp; cited appearance suggest a contact dermatitis reaction to some agent. This could be a shampoo/soap or other material that passed over  the area. Keep it clean &amp; it should heal. It does not sound like covid.

Allergies: You could have sinus congestion from nasal allergies, see your doctor and try over the counter allergy medication to see if they help, like Allegra or zyrtec.
