High Impact Twisting: Spiral fractures of long bones like femur are not common in infants, require large, torsion force, and should always raise suspicion of abuse. Detailed history and skeletal bone survey for any other fractures is warranted. Spiral fractures can occur in accidental, unintentional trauma.

Unlikely!: Nystagmus  is unlikely to be caused by  ranitidine. It could be congenital meaning present since birth or acquired later due to several causes. He needs to be seen by a pediatric optjomologist  and may be a pediatric neurologist also. You have to rule out vision problem and neurological problems.

how often can i give my 6 month old infant glycerol? she's over 8kgs and hasn't had a proper bm in a few days i gave her glycerol yesterday

Constipation?: I'm assuming that you mean glycerin suppositories for constipation.  Every once in a while these are ok to give.  If you are giving one every few days you should try and figure out how to relieve the constipation.  Likely you have started some solids by now.  Consider giving a small amount of undiluted fruit juice 2-4 oz or a smushed up fresh fruit. Just stay away from bananas.

Yes it is..: Flu vaccination is indeed recommended for virtually everyone age 6-months and older, ulness specific contraindication such as severe egg allergies. Like all meds/injections, they carry risk, but the risk from flu vaccine is small--injection site soreness, mild flu-like symptoms etc...But the benefit is significant: it saves many lives yearly. NO, but not BAD: It is neither good nor bad.  It is purely cosmetic and to enhance your enjoyment of your child.  I would strongly recommend you seek out a pediatrician that does ear piercing using sterile medical plastic studs with decorative tops.   Mall earring studs have many metal components and are not sterile.  This leads to the potential of infection and metal allergies that will haunt the child for life.

No general rx: Appetite in a kid usually represents their state of health &amp; pattern of growth. There is no "stimulant" advised at this age. Some growth happens in spurts &amp; their feeding follows the peaks &amp; lows of the rate. If you feel she is to slow gaining weight have her evaluated to see if there is a medical problem.

Balance: Feed your baby a balance of foods beginning with various cereals and pureed foods. Allow her to experience a variety of tastes and textures. As she gets older various finger foods , are important to offer. Continue to feed many foods, even those she doesn't like as much. Even with the best of efforts many toddlers will become picky eaters

See a Dr: Acute swelling in the face/head of a baby requires a thorough exam by a pediatrician. The cause is usually allergic or infectious. Treatment will be determined by the Dr's findings on exam, tests, imaging or other data. Because your baby is so young it is important that you see the Dr today, in case there is a serious problem.

Cramps ?: Every crying baby does so by tightening their breathing muscle. This pushes out on the belly and makes it firm. Many people assume they have a digestive or stomach issue when this happens. Many kids cry at night, particularly after 6mo when they realize they are alone. (separation anxiety) An exam and other symptoms might clarify the issue.
