Depends on cause: Strep throat is diagnosed w/swab &amp; is treated w/ antibiotics. However, the cipro (ciprofloxacin) you're on does not kill strep. Best is penicillin or cephalosporin. If allergic, then azithromycin or clindamycin. Most sore throats are caused by viruses, especially when there's cough. Antibiotics won't help &amp;can cause complications. There are no effective cough medicines. Warm salt water gargle can help sore throat

Sore throat/cough: Non-medical symptomatic management that has not risk to supply or baby include salt water gargle, drinking honey with tea, and over-the-counter saline rinses.

Nausea is not...: ...A symptom of influenza. It can be a symptom of any number of dozens of other viral infections, which are often blamed for being "the flu". Influenza is a potentially deadly respiratory virus (killed more people in the 20th century than every war combined), that is highly preventable with handwashing and vaccination. It does not cause nausea.

Sore throat: You can try Advil/Motrin for the pain.  Drink plenty of warm and cold fluids which can soothe the throat.  Honey can coat the throat and might help the cough.  If you feel a trio in the back of throat, then that might be causing the pain and you can try an over the counter antihistamine to help with that.

Cough...: It sounds as if you may be describing a post-nasal drip, which causes the itchy, scratchy throat and dry cough by stimulating cough receptors at the back of the throat. If an older child (> 12 years old) or adult, may try an otc decongestant and cough suppressant, usually with dextromethorphan. Throat lozenges, humidifiers, topical Vicks and offering warm liquids will also help;.

Sore throat: If you have a sore throat and  you do not have a fever you likely have post nasal drip.  I would  get the nasal steroid spray like nasal cort .  Two sprays each nostril with the head pointed down to the ground.  Give it a few days to get the full results of the meds.  The sore throat is likely to post nasal drip.  If you start to cough color: yellow or brown you may need an antibiotic  good luck

Acid reflux: You may have acid reflux. Don't eat late, avoid alcohol, if you smoke stop smoking and try Pepcid or zantac (ranitidine).

Symptomatic care: At this time there is no treatment for mild symptoms of COVID-19. However, you can treat the symptoms with Tylenol for pain or fever, fluids , decongestants and nasal sprays for congestion.  Also check your temperature daily. And of course quarantine yourself for 14 days
