EF 44%.: I assume you mean EF ( Ejection Fraction ) is 44%.  The EF is a measure of how much blood was in the main pump of the heart at the beginning of contraction as compared to the end of contraction. This is not the same as function at all.  Having said that &gt;55% is "normal." 13% of people age 50-70 have EF

Most probably his: Heart attack was a large one causing an ischemic cardiomiopathy with low ejection fraction. Cardiac rehabilitation program a must. Close cardiology fallow up too. Treatment individualized for each patient. Future improvement on cardiac function will depend  on actual amount of irreversible myocardial damage. There many options to improve cardiac functioning. Talk to his  cardiologist.

Surgery: There is no clear cut answer. Only the cardiovascular surgeon that is involved in your care might give an estimate based on his/her experience.
If you had a cath that suggested triple vessel disease, or anatomy not otherwise amenable to stenting, and CABG is offered, would suggest that you take it, since that can add many years of better quality life.

CK is also found: in skeletal muscle and the biliary system.  This level should be followed by your doctor.  CK is not reliably used as a measure of heart damage by itself so hopefully you have otherwise normal cardiac enzymes especially the MB fraction of CK.

: Dyspnea can be a psychosomatic symptom but pulmonary secretion (phlegm) and leg edema are not. You definitely have a physical impairment (disease) and congestive heart failure is top of the list but it is easily diagnosed with physical exam and echocardiogram. Please continue to follow with your doctors and a second opinion should be considered if there is still no answer with persistent symptoms.

Normal data: At 28 with all that normal data, you should avoid smoking, eat a mediterranean diet, get aerobic exercise 30min, minimum daily and enjoy life.........
