i took a micronutrient test, and it says i have high levels of zinc (1.41 ug/ml), copper (2 ug/ml), and selenium (152.93 ng/ml). also vitamin d deficiency (14.2 ng/ml). what can be the cause for this and how can i lower my levels?

: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that,take 5000 units vitamin D3/day for 3 months. Do not take any other supplements that may be causing high levels of other things. No need to lower these.

i took hiv 4th gen test at 4,5 &7 weeks , result negative, i was on a medicine not prep, medicine composition - alpha lipoic acid, selenium, zinc sulphate. will it impact the hiv test result, thigh pain since 3-4 weeks, can this be a symptom?pls help?

: There are no medications, treatments, vitamins, supplements, or anything else that have any effect on HIV test timing or reliability. Any statements to the contrary are false or urban myths. You do not have HIV; don't worry about it. Look for other causes for your thigh pain.

Don't take same day: There is no need to avoid taking these except on the day you get the test; and you can take them once your blood has been drawn.

Vitamins can be toxi: The doses you are consuming are probably safe, and helpful. Your only concern is with vitamin a dose. The vitamin dose must be added to your food content. Some people eat a lot of vit-a, and take extra zinc, which causes vitamin a to be formed. Check a level of a after supplementing for two months, compare it to your baseline level. If the elevation of the vit-a is rapid, then  reduce daily dose, .

Weird stuff: I don't know what your doctor is treating, but I can say that these are very unusual treatments.  The mineral supplements are probably harmless, although ineffective (and expensive; is your doctor selling them?);  the levo/lioth combo is probably making you hyperthyroid, which will hurt you in the long run, and make you addicted to a daily thyroid rush. See a reputable endocrinologist.

Not necessarily : Data for selenium pills is not favorable  at all. The meds we know heal gastritis are Proton Pump Inhibitors like nexium, (esomeprazole) Prilosec, Prevacid, etc.. But the key is to avoid foods and irritants that keep leading to higher acid levels-tomato based products, vinegar, citrus, alcohol, cigarettes, chocolate, spearmint/peppermint, spicy foods, hot temp foods.
