im experiencing severe rib pain on my left side. when i sneeze it feels like ive fractured a rib. i can barely breathe or move. ive taken pain killers ive been prescribed by my gynecologist but they didnt help. i dont know what to do. ?

: Rib pain, Rib pain be difficult because at times you just wait  for it to heal. There is manipulative therapy for some ribs problems which would can help the muscle component of rib problems. See a doctor

i had my gallbladder removed 3 weeks ago and ercp 2 weeks ago. have pain under right ribs and feeling nauseous. had to take pain killers now. 2nd day back at work - maybe position sitting in? is this normal?

for a week and a half i have woken up 3 times at around 1am with burning pain around my ribs. lasts for like 3hours and i cannot sleep during that time. i have to take a strong pain killers. what can it be? i had a cesarean on the 25th of september?

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It could be acid reflux. If you are overweight, it could be adding to your problem and losing weight would help.  It would be prudent to see a doctor.

Could be serious: You didn't give your age, but at any age chest pain can be serious, even on the right.  It's almost impossible to sort out without seeing someone in person, but if moving your shoulder or twisting brings it on, it can wait a bit.  However if that were so I doubt you'd be writing, so get checked, urgently if short of breath or pain becomes constant for over 1/2 hour or is brought on by exertion.

75 +menegis spine cancer thats not spread ,iin hospital now 3 mths.i have risk of bed sores ,the ribbed cover air mattress that inflates with my movement and weight is causing me pain,which i take pain killers for ,is there another option less pain?

Sorry to hear this!: Spinal bone cancer is very painful, and if they are giving you intrathecal or other types of more significant pain meds, the inflatablable mattress with you on it, might feel more comfortable with a pillow top mattress covering, giving you some buffer, by gentle padding. You don' want to get bed sores, or that sets you up for skin infection, ulceration that could be deadly too.

Emergency: Potential causes of this chest pain include viral illness, pericarditis, pulmonary embolism, viral illness and some  less common problems.  An urgent visit to ones doctor, a cardiologist or to the Emergency Dept is warranted to enable a careful search for the cause of pain.

can certain medication for ex pain killers cause  a pain below ur right rib if so cud it be a liver problem?

YES: Excess naprosyn, acetaminophen, NSAIDS, can affect the liver; however, mostly kidney issues, usually in high doses only or if allergic/sensitive to the medication. Other offenders would be gallbladder  problems, latent hepatitis, drug abuse, exposure to toxic chemicals.

i have a very sharp pain on my chest/ribs, it stings so hard when i move so i  should be still ,  its been going on for years now. the doctors found nothing on the blood tests, x-ray and they said my heart is fine so they just gave me pain killers.

Sting: This sounds like a neuropathic problem.  I understand your blood work and and radiographs are normal.  Neuropathic pain is typically caused by microscopic  changes.  For example diabetic neuropathy  has no specific xray abnormalities.  Blood sugar would be elevated with that condition.   However,  many  causes for neuropathy with normal labs.  Seeing a neurologist would be of value.
