i'm 66, had a dexascan & there was an 8 pt drop in spine from +3.7   t-score on previous test 3 yrs ago. hip was good. how bad is this? i'm terrified!

Probably okay: Check in with your doctor but don't worry in the meantime.  If you had a 0.8 point drop from +3.7, that should mean that you are still in normal range.  Recommendations are to take 1500 mg of calcium and 400 iu of vitamin d, and to do daily weight-bearing exercise such as walking.  Your doctor may recommend medication to prevent fractures if you have bone thinning (osteopenia) or osteoporosis.

have hip pain in both hips following a fall that occurred 5 days ago. some nights the pain is so bad, i can't sleep. because on both, i don't always have a good side to sleep on. pain in buttocks area

Back pain: It sounds like it is back pain and not hip pain but see a doctor and have the problem evaluated.

Ovarian cancer ?: Why are you worried about ovarian cancer?  Do you or your family have a history ?  Usually cancers present as PAINLESS masses in the abdomen, not painful. Though certainly repeating the US would be a good idea. If nice normal ovaries are seen you. An look for another cause of your pain. Feel better !

im 35 weeks pregnant and have had a very good pregnancy. recently ive started getting the hip pain. my concern i have bad pain in my left side of body?

Varies: There are a number of possibilities including "sciatica" from the back, a painful SI joint, even a condition that can affect the hip known as transient osteoporosis of pregnancy.  I would not hesitate to let your obstetrician know, and a good check up would be a good place to start.

was in a bad car accident and that had made my back and hip issues worse. i'm thinking about a breast reduction. would that be a good idea?

See your PMD: It sounds like your back and hip pain are likely because of the car accident. You should see your pmd regarding management of this. Breast reduction helps only in situations with very large breasts that are causing upper back/neck pain, poor posture, bra strap grooving. If you did not have pain prior to the car accident and your breasts have not changed, it is unlikely that reduction will help.

Check for gout: Your symptoms are of arthritic pain. Gouty arthritis is one condition that can be triggered by drinking. See your pcp.

If you have had hip surgery, ask your physical therapist for tips.
