my son 17 woke up with itchy rash patch on neck that looks a lot like eczema patch. hes never had eczema before. it itches and is inflamed. what is it? also says he doesnt feel well.

Can't say for sure: The most common reason for a localized outbreak on the skin is a contact reaction to some trigger agent. This could be liquid/solid/metal/plant/etc. If it's raw, sometimes a mild OTC steroid cream will help.A localized reaction is rarely the cause or part of another illness. That is likely something else.

c section 14 weeks ago. since then have had a red, itchy rash in a band around lower back. is small red bumpy spots, itches on and off. what is it?

Infection?: To know for sure what it is, you would need to see a Dermatologist.  A common cause of your symptoms is a yeast infection or bacterial infection in the skin.  These can usually be treated with non-prescription antifungal or antibacterial skin creams.   Best wishes!

been on trivenz from 15 oct 19 then on 15 dec 19   was given antenef. on 27 december 19 develop watery red itchy rash all over my body. still itching on 1 jan 20. are there any chances that the rash can go away without professional help?

Allergic reaction: You must contact and inform your prescribing physician of these symptoms as allergic reaction to one of these medications could well be the cause. Get instructions from that physician as soon as possible.

i given amoxicillin when my mono was misdiagnosed as strep. i now have a full body and extremely itchy rash. i am on prednisone. relief from itching?

Prednisone: Prednisone should cover it honestly, if you want something else to see if it will help, take Benadryl (diphenhydramine) 50mg every six hours as needed as well. Follow up with your doctor next week regardless.

Exam: please close your computer and call your physician or go directly to an urgent care center. You cannot be diagnosed online and skin lesions MUST be visualized and evaluated.

: Itching &amp; white flakes are not generally associated with syphylis-. If you are concerned about syphylis you should see a doctor and get  a blood test for syphylis.Primary syphylis presents with a painless penile ulcer so you may not have noticed that. Secondary syphylis comes with the rash.  But rashes are common in many diseases so if you've engaged in risky behaviors get the STD tests.

See doctor: This could have been from the fungus (tinea) spreading or a so-called id reaction if you have athlete's foot.  Since you have already tried hydrocortisone, it is time for you to consult a dermatologist.

Suggest: a complete evaluation by your Primary Care Provider. There are a number of reasons for systemic (total body) itching! These include but are not limited to liver and kidney problems. Simple blood tests will answer a lot of questions.

Hives?  Other?: You could have been exposed to something that's causing hives -- or you could have urticaria (itching & rash) for other reasons like hyperbilrubinemia too.  For your best help, please see your doctor so s/he can examine your skin and treat you effectively.  Be well.
