Great question!: If i knew the answer to this, i would still have most of my hair! each baby is different with each own temperament. There is no cookbook best way approach to this. Best you can do is make sure the diaper is dry, the baby is fed, the temperature is comfortable and let it be.  Sometimes, babies just cry for no reasons...I will retapp this to get other opinions. Depends: If baby appears unusually irritable, then take baby to pediatrician more urgently. Sometimes colic can affect little ones and they will settle with warm blanket on tummy, frequent burping and/or mylicon drops.

2 examinations: Sh's trying to tell you she's in pain. She may be teething. If she's had her 1st Dental exam call her Dentist. If not, she's overdue, and she should see a pediatric dental specialist, a Pedodontist, now. Also. call her Pediatrician. Pain. can be from gas, dehydration, constipation, virus, etc. But most common cause is teething, so start with Pedodontist.

See below: If you mean a true blood blister with a blood under the blister, then no!  if the area looks like little broken blood vessels (called petechiae), this can occur with strong crying.  If concerned, get the child seen.

Stress/emotions : Stress/emotions etc. Can raise a person's blood sugar levels, however not high enough where they need to avoid these emotions! your friend needs to realize that her son will live with this disease for the rest of his life, and the more she makes him feel restricted, especially regarding human nature, the more likely he will rebel. This could ultimately lead to resenment regarding  his disease and he could end much more worse off because of this. The bottom line, let him cry it out if that is what he's inclined to do!
