Depends: If baby appears unusually irritable, then take baby to pediatrician more urgently. Sometimes colic can affect little ones and they will settle with warm blanket on tummy, frequent burping and/or mylicon drops.

What else: Brazelton defined patternsof nl infant crying (for no reason) in the 60's with starting @~1hr/d peaking @6wks @ 2hr & back under 1hr by 3mo. If you ck ur momy list & baby is feeding well, wetting diapers/4hr, not too hot/cold & may just be tired, crying time is not the best indicator for action.If feeding poorly, not aleart or playful part of the day or ur internal red flag is up-go in.
