Most of us in our 30s-40s start developing microvascular changes (surrounding small blood vessels they look mildly leaky/thick) usually from high BP or migraine genetics/tendency

: Those findings are common in patients with history of hypertension or atherosclerotic vascular disease at your age. You only need to have systolic blood pressure less than 140 (for your age this systolic pressure is probably low enough, although there is still controversy between 130 vs 140) and LDL cholesterol less than 100, you will be fine.

MRI CORRELATION: Your report of your imaging causes me some concern, as it is a description consistent with several entities, and these include microvascular angiopathy (small vessel arteriolosclerosis), binswanger's encephalopathy, but could even be correlated with ris (asymptomatic ms).  I am unable to state that cryofibrinogenemia can be considered a good answer here.  You may need further testing to answer.

Usually strokes: It depends on the patient's history. Migraines have been associated with hyperintense spots in the brain. Uncontrolled diabetes mellitus, hypertension, or hyperlipidemia may cause "silent" small strokes which can also take on a similar experience. Have a neurologist evaluate you as a whole in conjunction with the mri, not just the MRI alone.

: The images are not unusual outcomes and are non-diagnostic.  Possible clinical correlations include migraine, smoking, prior head injuries, microvascular angiopathy, recreational drugs, and less likely multiple sclerosis.  Your doctor or radiologist might provide additional clinical correlations.

Possible : Tingling is also called paresthesias. These symptoms can arise from various areas in the brain, spinal cord, nerve roots or peripheral nerves. Your neurologist should perform tests to try and localize your symptoms to the neuroanatomical location. If no better explanation exists, it is certainly possible that white matter T2 hyperintensities in the corona radiata and centrum semiovale are causal.

: It's impossible to tell without knowing much more detail about the injury and/or seeing the MRI itself. Imaging and pathology reports are written mostly for doctors and documentation in the medical record, not the patient. Look at the conclusion or diagnosis information, usually at the bottom of the report. And discuss with your doctor. Good luck.

Small vessel disease: The latest studies point to small vessels also called microscopic vessels. These become blocked resulting in fluid in the soft tissue next to it . This so called small vessel disease or more pronounced micro vascular ischemia. These are found in just about all over 50 and sometimes even younger

Neurologist: There can be several causes for the above abnormal findings and they usually are explained by some sort of brain injury or trauma.  Abnormal brain MRIs in a young child need to be evaluated by a specialist.  You should have the child seen by a pediatric neurologist to review the complete history and have a physical exam.
