Dysuria: Dysuria is the sensation of discomfort with urination.  Often it feels like burning but can also feel like pressure or cramps inside the urethra, genitals or bladder.

Concentrated urine: The first morning urine has the most concentration due to absence of fluid intake while you sleep.
This will make it more acidic also and if you have a bladder inflammation it will be more apparent at that time.
Diluting the urine reduces the impact.
You should be checked for bladder infection or chronic inflammation.

Many things: A number of things can cause painful urination.  A bladder infection, interstitial cystitis, a vaginal infection, or atrophic vaginitis can all cause painful urination.  An evaluation typically begins with a history of the problem, a physical exam and a simple urinalysis.

UTI: Painful urination is most often due to a bladder infection.  Sometimes a urethral infection from a sexually transmitted disease is also a cause.  Start with a urine test, and if it is consistent with a UTI then antibiotics will resolve it.  If you have any vaginal discharge then you should also have tests for stds.
