MCH: Mch is mean corpuscular hemoglobin in red cell. The normal range is 33 to36. It is typo error with 333.3.  It is used to determine anemia. Thanks.

RBC Indices: When a blood count (CBC) is done the lab describes the red cells (rbcs). The RDW describes the variation in cell size as a percentage. Normal is ~12-15%. A normal rdw-sd is ~35-46. High rdws usually result from increased rbc production, rbc damage, or transfusions. We look at MCHC more than mch. The MCHC gives the percent of a rbc made up of hemoglobin. The MCV is the avg volume of rbcs.

i received my blood work test results back from my first prenatal visit at 7w and my mch levels were high at 33.1.  should i be concerned?

Not for MCH: What is your hemoglobin? 'high' MCH is not anything to be concerned about, as long as your hemoglobin is above 12 gm.

hello. i am a 27 year old male. i recently had my blood work done, and i found out that while my hemoglobin level is normal (14.2 g/dl), my mcv and mch are low (mcv= 69.8 fl. mch = 23.3 pg). mchc is normal too (33.3%). is this normal or dangerous?

: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, you may have mild iron deficiency though there is nothing dangerous in your results.     Wish you good health!

See below: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, it would have helped to know the actual values rather than high or low.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex. 
Get HPV vaccine.

hello i had blood work done and my mcv is 93.1 mch 33.1 ast is 78 and alt is 166 those only showed high.  drank day day before could that make it high?

Yes: Alcohol will rev up liver to try to clear it.  Always moderation.

last blood work showed mch at 25.7 (low) and rdw at 15.8 (high). hemoglobin was within normal range (13.4). i had only looked at hemoglobin, but could mch and rdw indicate anemia regardless of hemoglobin count?

Complete blood count: You should not be confused with those numbers. That is why your doctor is there to help analyse and interprete those numbers. Go to see your doctor who ordered that blood work and discuss with him/her what it means.

Hard to guess: Numbers are just numbers, with little meaning unless a doctor takes in the whole picture of what's going on with his patient. If the patient's result numbers are slightly lower or slightly higher than the reference range, the ordering doctor may or may not consider the results a problem, depending on the patient's historical and current illnesses, and his exercise activities.

last blood work showed high rdw (15.8), low mch (25.7) but normal hemoglobin 13.4 and normal hematocrit 41.6. inquired about anemia. was told possible early red cell release (hematocrit count had not been factored in). would it be serious condition?

Some would consider I will be dead tomorrow as serious but others consider I will be dead in 30 years as serious.  Decide what you consider serious.
