Maybe LERD?: Exposure of the vocal cords to stomach acid & pepsin will result in inflammation of the vocal cords (as is also often seen with acid regurgitation) = lerd. Acute laryngitis may result, but watch out for chronic hoarseness, throat clearing, airway spasms, cough, bronchitis, an asthma-type presentation, & even a higher risk of throat cancer. May however not be reflux so please get yourself checked.

Winter allergies: It's possible you have winter allergies.  We spend more time indoors, and we have the heat on.  In particular, central heating units can have mold growing in the vents, and these mold form can release their spores into the air you breathe in your home.  Plus, you may be spending more time indoors with pets - with the windows shut.  Tends to cause early morning symptoms - because you sleep at home.

Chronic rhinitis: A very common condition.  One should maximize treatment with antihistamines(pill ie Claritin or nasal spray)  and/or nasal steroids.  I tell my patients to irrigate nasal passages with saline on a regular basis.  One would worry about environmental allergies, so a referral to an allergist may be needed.

7 years old daughter has been having off and fever ranging from 99 f to 100.5 f for 2-3 weeks now. there are no other symptoms other than occasional morning cough and very minor cough during day. otherwise she is active. what should be done?

: You may consider getting her tested for Covid and Flu. You may watch and wait. if the fever gets high to 103 or if she develops breathing difficulty, see a doctor or take her to a hospital.

Allergies?: Since you do not smoke these symptoms are most likely caused by allergies. I would try a non-sedating antihistamine like loratadine and use nasal saline frequently (4-5 time a day). If these do not solve the problem then talk to your physician to make sure that this is the correct diagnosis. Prescription nasal steroids may help if it is from allergies.

Aspiration, reflux: Many things can cause long-term cough and congestion in a one-year old, most relate to inhaling (aspirating) what they eat.  What you describe should be discussed with your doctor as they could lead to pneumonia.  Be sure your son doesn't get a bottle or cup propped in bed at night. Your doctor is likely to want to check out his swallowing and possible acid reflux. Allergies aren't too likely.

Normal: This could be from post nasal drip if you are having some bleeding in your nose. Dry nasal passages can occur with a cold. Try a saline nasal spray to alleviate the dryness before going to bed and in the morning, it should ease the problem. If it continues, see your doctor.

Possibly yes.: Tech MAY be referring to Hyperinflation(over expansion) of the lungs. COPD is the most common cause. In COPD there is an inability for the lungs to empty normally on expiration due to loss of Elastic recoil and Collapse of the small airways(bronchioles).
