: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, there is more than one way to test for antimitochondrial antibodies and different methods do not give interchangeable result.

See details: You have a positive ANA which is a screening test for lupus. However, it is positive in numerous other diseases and even in normal people. See a rheumatologist to determine what it means.

No HSV in CNS: With these tests, you're obviously under a doctor's care, maybe including an infectious diseases specialist or neurologist. They can answer these questions best. But these results effectively rule out HSV infection of your central nervous system. Something else is causing the problem. That said, the HSV IgM test is notoriously unreliable. You probably also had an IgG test, probably negative.

: Anti histone antibody is classically associated with drug induced lupus.  Another question would be - what are the signs and symptoms suggesting lupus?  Most ANA are not significant.  Figures from 5-10% of the general population show positive lupus testing.  Most will never go on to lupus, fortunately.

You might be able to determine how soon before the test was done, depending upon the type of antibody test that was done. Igm usually is the marker for a recent infection.  If you have a + test and had no recent symptoms (rash, fever) then i would be happy you are immune!
