i have done 4 times iui one last year after which i haded a laproscopy for dermoid cyst and 3 since last 3 mnths. how many times can iui be dne?

Varies: You can do more iui's . That is not harmful. But after 4 of them the chances each time of getting pregnant will drop. I would assume you had an xray of your fallopian tubes after the surgery to make sure there was no damage from the procedure. Certainly you may need to complete an evaluation or reconsider treatment options in the near future.

Third opinion : This is a small enough cyst that laparoscopy should be successful. U need to find out how many procedures they do laparoscopically - more the better. Also ask about complication rate. U have to b comfortable with ur surgeon and it doesn't sound like you r at this time. Having one more option might ease ur mind. Try to find someone who does lots of laparoscopy. Good luck.

Yes, less likely: Benign cystic teratomas, or dermoid cysts, are germ cell tumors of the ovary that account for 20-25% of all ovarian tumors and are bilateral in 10-15% of cases.1 They have a low incidence of malignancy, reported as 1-3%.

Remove It: A dermoid cyst in the ovary needs to be removed before you get pregnant. A dermoid cyst does not interfere with you getting pregnant. Having a cyst during pregnancy increases risk of pain, torsion and causes confusion. Good Luck!

Depends: If you have no pain or symptoms from the dermoid, surgery may not be necessary. Removing the dermoid however may not result in the loss of your ovary. Talk to your doctor.

had my dermoid cyst removed last month laparotomy,my dr said my tubes are too curvy, it says both of my tubes are tortuous dilated. what does it mean? isthere a treatment for this am i gonna get pregnant? i have been trying to have a baby for 5 years?

Fertility ?'s: Dermoid cysts are benign and do not influence fertility.  If your surgeon did not evaluate if your tubes were open at the laparotomy, ask about a hysterosalpingogram (HSG), a fluroscopic procedure instilling sterile liquid into the tubes which can also clear the tubes, allowing repair if necessary. Blocked tubes from infection is the most common reason statistically for infertility.

NO: You are born with it once removed  completely  removed will noy come back , still possible to get pregnant with one tube and ovary.
