? carpal tunnel: Numbness of the fingers has several causes.  Temporary causes like hyperventilating can cause all fingers to feel tingly.  Other intermittent causes include carpal tunnel, thoracic outlet syndrome, or pinched nerve in your neck.   You are kind of young for most of these problems.  If it keeps up get it checked out.

See neurologist: If it it is at the tip , it may be carpal tunnel syndrome vs. Pinched nerve in the neck area depending on the other associated symptoms you are having and exam findings by your neurologist.

This may be a sign : Of nerve irritation or pinching in the neck or cervical region due to a number of causes with the most frequent being degenerative changes leading to the narrowing of an exiting nerve tunnel known as a Neuroforamen leading to some nerve compression or due to a disc herniation or both.   There are also other possible causes as well.  If symptoms progress or are troubling you, see your physician .

NERVE PROBLEM: Sounds like a peripheral neuropathy or "nerve condition", affecting the sensory nerves in your hand/fingers.  Could be due to nerve impingement that is occurring at the elbow (more likely in this case) or wrist. There are also other inflammatory or metabolic causes to consider.  Try over the counter anti-inflammatories but if not improving see your doctor.

Radiculopathy: 20 yo female w. "chest-armpit" pain &amp; associated radial nerve radiculopathy describes a process occurring in region of brachial neural plexus. This could be a musculoskeletal disorder like Thoracic Outlet Syndrome or an evolving inflammatory process. The latter would best be evaluated sooner than later. See a primary care physician; urgently if there is feverishness or arm/hand weakness.

Probally: The 3fingers that you describe are the most common affected by the median nerve which is carpal tunnel.Have your primary refer you for a EMG-nerve conduction study.In the meantime get a carpal tunnel splint,it is velcro with a medal piece on the palm side of the wrist to wear at night when sleeping and that should help.

See your doc: The low back is not related to the right arm.  The arm is most likely a disk herniation at C5-6 and or C6-7 on the right.  It can be treated with traction,medication and surgery as a last resort.  You can also try injections.

36 yo female with a history of crohn's disease and degenerative disc disease. have a numb spot on my pointer finger, my hands are cold and i get tingling. may have mild crohn's flare. neuropathy?
