my blood pressure is at 120/75/90 n would like to know if is ok to take l-arginine. is this supplement good for heart health? 1000 mg pills. thank you

Evidence is limited: L-arginine is generally safe. Some believe it may be beneficial in patients with certain arterial diseases, but there are no good scientific clinical trials to prove that. I would not recommend it if you do not have specific cardiovascular disease.

i received first pfizer vaccine shot yeasterday and strangely i don't feel any more the constant heart palpitations or flutters i felt before. is this a placebo or maybe some of the ingredients actually are good for heart health. thank you?

: Pfizer vaccine has very little in its rna representing spike protein and a small transport material. I am not aware of vaccine affecting the heart, brain or any other systems. Is it possible that your palpitations were due to anxiety concerning COVID-19  &amp; receiving the vaccine may have relieved the stress. It can be just coincidence. Or may have heart healthy effect!!! Does it help?

do flaxseed oil supplements (gel capsules) help lower blood pressure just as effectively as ground flaxseed? i ask because ive heard eating fish is good for heart health but taking fish oil capsules do almost nothing for heart health. thanks?

: Although the FDA doesn't officially investigate it sufficiently, flaxseed is felt to lower BP mildly but dosage recommendations vary. I'm a fan of purified omega 3 fish oil as I know it lowers high triglyceride levels and raises HDL ( good cholesterol). Excessive amounts.may predispose to development of atrial fibrillation in certain people however.

Pomegranite: Any fruit rich in antioxidants, vitamins is good for heart health.  However, diabetics have to be moderate given potential impact of some sweet fruits on blood sugars.

No. : Not sure if fasting once a week will help but I am aware that fasting is advice by some christians and is mention at the bible. I will advice good diet, exercise using anaerobic and aerobic exercises, keep your weight down, control stress, have a good outlook in life, enjoy your work, enjoy life and do good to others. :).

COQ10: I am unaware of powerful double blinded placebo controlled data supporting clear benefit or dosing guidelines with this agent, unfortunately with nutraceuticals there tends to be irrational belief guiding their use, fortunately most such use causes no harm.

Sounds like you are: already there. Avoid smoking, keep your cholesterol monitored, monitor blood pressure, avoid stress, exercise regularly and be thankful for your genetic background and family history.
