No: Iodine has little to do with grave's disease. It is an autoimmune disease. Too much salt is not good for you but it is not due to the iodine.

Avoid excess iodine: The only dietary restriction with Graves disease is to avoid excess iodine in your diet, such as kelp, seaweed.  Also try to avoid having a radiologic study that requires IV contrast that contains iodine.

Control the thyroid: I do not know what "pign problem" is.  But you need to control the overactive thyroid to control the irreg heartbeat.  This will involve medications (eg. Methimazole, b-blockers), and perhaps more permanent treatments such as radioactive iodine or surgery.

It depends.: For different situations, the best treatment may be surgery to remove the thyroid, radioactive iodine to kill the thyroid, or medications to slow the thyroid down.  Radioactive iodine is the most-used treatment in the us, while surgery is seldom used for graves' disease.  Talk with your doctor to find out which treatment might be the best one for you.
