No: the probiotics survive stomach acid so i think beer is ok..

No: When there is "normal bacteria" it implies that the collection method was poor. A squat &amp; pee collection, rather than one catheterized or truly clean midstream catch will have some vaginal wash out germs, but these are expected with any such specimen.  BV is a clinical diagnosis based on symptoms and a wet prep of vaginal secretions examined under a microscope.

Try for a: refrigerated probiotic, or off the shelf if traveling.  Don't be overly concerned w/the numbers, i.e., how many billions in each dose.  Look more for a variety of ingredients, i.e., bacteria/yeast in each bottle.  PRE-biotics prompt the body to make PRO-biotics and can be good also.  Then you would look for l-glutamine which does not have to be refrigerated.  Peace and good health.

Probiotic: Can't say which bacteria types without knowing the purpose you are using it for. However, do recommend that there are multiple strains, a minimum of 6  million cultures and that it be in a timed release formula. Regarding the brand  - Health tap has asked it's doctors not to recommend specific brands or product lines. Your pharmacist can likely help you.

Probiotics: These organisms can rarely actually produce disease, usually in patients who are immunosuppressed.  Do not know what you mean by your body detoxifying.  Be more specific and rephrase the question.

Not correct: Probiotics do just the opposite, they colonize your body with good bacteria.  More recent information suggests connections between the gut flora and a number of illnesses.

Probiotics: The intestinal flora and the interactions of various organisms is often not easy to predict and the introduction of Saccharomyces and Lactobacilli or other bacilli and which takes over will depend upon multiple poorly defined factors, and whether the patient is also receiving antibiotics for other reasons. There seems no contraindication to taking both, but simply eating Yogurt is quite effective.
