No: Terminal meconium is just evidence baby went through a period of stress in labor.Whatever caused the stress might account for some of what you describe. The worst outcome from terminal meconium happens if they inhale the poo into their lungs and get pneumonia.

Likely a hydrocele: About half of all newborn boys will have a condition called a communicating hydrocele. This means that there is an opening between the abdominal cavity and the scrotum. Fluid accumulates in the scrotum, causing painless swelling. This condition usually resolves on its own within one year. Any pain or redness could indicate a more serious condition. Either way, your baby's doctor should evaluate it.

what is subcutaneous thickening of the temple? i have a swollen parotid which is now on my temple. it is reported as subcutaneous thickening. please can you plain what this means. thank you

The parotid gland: is located on the jawline just below the earlobe. It does not extend to the temporal area but iif a bacterial infection can spread to underlying soft tissues. See your physician.

Closed Head Injury: Depending on the injury you sustained, it is possible that you have a simple contusion or more significant fracture. If your symptoms do not resolve, you have nausea/vomiting, vision changes or loss of consciousness it would be wise to seek the advice of your physician for testing and evaluation.

: Waldenstrom's macroglobulinemia is a very rare form of non-Hodgin's leukemia,  where bone marrow is replaced with excess white cells and plasma cells.  Get a referral to a hematologist for an exam and further testing.

: No. If the lymph nodes have not grown in two years, you do not have lymphoma or Waldenstrom. You can watch and wait. You may feel the nodes every couple of weeks, if any of the lymph glands doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor. Probably nothing: This is a constellation of minor anomalies such as any generally healthy person may have. Lab reference ranges are set so that a few percent of healthies fall outside on either end. You need a general physician or skin Dr. to evaluate your scalp (?), &amp; serum iron and TIBC to search for mild iron deficiency (commonly raises RCW before anemia sets in). Malignant nodes aren't subtle.

Not likely: While I suppose, given some facts like unprotected sex near ovulation, a positive HPT and a missed period that it is possible, it's not likely. Any period is probably going to flush out an egg along w/ it. If your other complaints are worsening, or if your periods continue to be irregular - have an exam. Use protection for any sex. Cut back on over-eating, avoid salt and drink water - be active.
