A member asked:

Swollen lymph nodes throughout head and neck, big scabs in head, elevated rdw-cv and elevated abs monocytes. what could this mean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably nothing: This is a constellation of minor anomalies such as any generally healthy person may have. Lab reference ranges are set so that a few percent of healthies fall outside on either end. You need a general physician or skin Dr. to evaluate your scalp (?), & serum iron and TIBC to search for mild iron deficiency (commonly raises RCW before anemia sets in). Malignant nodes aren't subtle.
