More info needed.: Why was an investigation done on the heart? What testing saw an abnormality. What is meant by spot? Testing neonates for heart issues only occurs after something is found, so there is more to this question than meets the eye. Most newborn heart issues are based upon abnormal anatomy (congenital heart disease). If the anatomy is normal, that is helpful. Talk with your doctor!

Not Likely: The results are encouraging. All of the tests suggest there is no Down's Syndrome, assuming that these are 2nd trimester results and the bloods are quad screen.

Highly likely : Its highly likely everything is ok. Seeing a white spot in the heart is common, and although can be associated with a genetic abnormality, is usually found to be incidental in a normal baby.

I am assuming that your tests included and examination and an electrocardiogram and that these were normal. It is not uncommon for premature beats not to be detected during a routine examination. Genetic screening: A "focus" or spot on the heart is relatively common and usually insignificant.  It can be a marker for Down syndrome though, so if a spot is seen you will usually be offered follow-up testing for genetic problems.  This is usually done through a more intensive ultrasound to look for other more conclusive markers of down syndrome, but also through blood testing or amniocentesis.
