See a doctor ASAP: A main artery, the aorta, runs from the heart down to the abdomen, called the abdominal aorta.  If the walls of the vessel weaken and the artery bulges out like a big balloon, you may feel a mass in your stomach region and feel a pulsation.  If this is the cause, get it seen soon because if the wall of the artery bursts, you will bleed to death rapidly.

Pulse in body: Our pulse can be felt throughout the body, easier in some spots than other, e.g., the wrist or the neck.  Feeling a pulse in your stomach is normal but for peace of mind and to rule out anything else you might sense see your doc.  He/she will put your mind at ease.

Aortic aneurysm: Around 65yo, we recommend one time screening ultrasound in men who('ve) smoke(d) to look for AAA (abdominal aortic aneurysm). Or we might order earlier if we feel especially large/wide bounding pulse in your belly.  Best to go see your Family Doc for evaluation.

Pulsation: You may be feeling pulsation from your abdominal aorta. Check it with the pulse in your arm.

Are you thin?: Hi. You are NOT seeing your stomach pulse. That's your aorta. And at age 20, it's not a AAA unless you have Marfan's or syphilis (which i HIGHLY suspect you do not). I suspect you are what we refer to in medicine as "the worried well". Good luck!

i can visibly see and feel a pulse in my upper abdomen area (not all time and happens standing or sitting). no pain in stomach, but seems to be more often or noticeable in past couple weeks. i am a 32yo 6 150lbs male. anything to be concerned about?

Pulsations: It is likely pulsations from your abdominal aorta. In some one who is slender that isn't uncommon.

Without more history: ...and a physical exam I can't answer your implied question.  You should see a health care practitioner. It doesn't have to be a gynecologist,  A family physician or a  physician's assistant can get the information they need and do a complete exam including a pelvic exam. More history is need: The problem you describe is quite complex and it is impossible with the history that you provide to know exactly what is going on and if the problem that you have is serious.  It is not clear to me that it is related or not related to the heart.  I would suggest setting up a point with your doctor is soonest possible to get a full evaluation and at that time be able to provide a much more detailed

You need to get an: xray or ct scan of the area as it could be any number of things some of which can be dangerous

: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without taking additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor and discuss if you may be depressed. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help. Start with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity as tolerated. Drink more water. Wish you good health!
