temp crown fell off twice every 5-7 days. i'm scheduled to put on perm crown this monday. will my perm crown be prone to fall off like the temp ones?

Accepted Answer

No: Temp crowns don't fit as well as final crowns. Also  different cements are used.
Just chill. It will be fine!

my son fell and bit his tounge pretty bad.do they put stiches on your tounge.

Biting tongue: Often times we don't , tongue is very vascular and it heals fast , take him to his doctor have him look at it , if he needs any medical attentions.

canestan pill completely fell out the next day in tact and i used the applicator again to put it back, what should i do now ?

Accepted Answer

Use a cream instead.: Canestan is the brand name of clotrimazole, which has anti fungal properties.  Lotrimin is another brand. If treating a vaginal yeast or fungal infection, the tablet will have no effect if it falls out. Don't bother putting it back. Use a cream form that comes with an applicator, such as gene-lotrimin. One may also use a single oral form of Fluconazole to treat the infection (prescription).

i'm not sure if my tampon fell out, but i couldn't find the string so i put another one in. but now, i'm not sure if it did fall out, or the other one i put it just got farther up. help

Need to check: Its very unlikely for a tampon to just fall out. You are probably right that you pushed one up further. Insert your finger all the way into the vagina and sweep it in a circle around your cervix. If you can feel the tampon, hook your finger around it and pull it out. If you can't get it out or are unsure, see a doc tomorrow. Leaving it in puts you at risk for severe and serious infection.

had word catheter put in yesturday for cyst but it fell out this morning. is that ok? just 24 hours?

It should probably..: be replaced.  The word catheter is designed to create a tract for drainage from the cyst area and then allow the cavity to close by itself.  This is usually a process that takes several weeks.  I would follow up with your primary care physician or your OB/GYN.

Continue icing: Continue icing for 20 minutes 3-4 times a day until the swelling is gone.

my grandmother fell down the top of the stairs and all i can see is redness and red patches on her back . so i put ice on it. what should i do?

Bruises: If it just the soft tissue or even the rib bruises, time is the healer icing and anti inflammatory medicine might help with pain, If it is rib fracture without displacement the treatment is going to be the same, if there is displacement compromising the lungs needs intervention. If it is so she would have symptoms of severe pain and shortness of breath. Judge by the severity of the symptoms.

my patch fell i bearly put it on friday,i put a new one,did i do wrong?can i get pregnant if he came in me on the day my patch fell n i put a new one?

Not likely for PG: Because you immediately put a new patch back on then the blood levels of the hormone necessary to inhibit ovulation never had a time to fall and make you vulnerable to pregnancy.

my nuvaring fell out of the fridge and im not sure how long it was out! if i put it back in the fridge and its still in its original packaging is it ok?

Nuvaring: It's fine. Nuvaring can be stored at room temp, 77f, for up to 4 months and excursion to 86f are permitted.

Yes...: Proper use of icing/cool packs helps reduce swelling..Apply gentle icing-pressure for 10-15 minutes 3-4 times/day for a day or two often helps with swelling after minor injuries/bruisings/contusions etc.....
