Odd comment: A brain MRI is unlikely to comment on any calcium deposits under the scalp. Such deposits are outside the skull so the information would be of no significance. Calcium deposits inside the substance of brain tissue would be a problem that requires clinical information to explain.

i have high calcium levels, brain mri showed spots in white matter, pain on right side abdomin.  dr mentioned aphasia-can all these be realted?  im 41

Not directly: Don't see how the abdominal issues would tie in. High calcium and brain lesions could have a unifying diagnosis. Aphasia means problems with speech, which could go along with brain lesions. Stay with the work up to get to the bottom of this.

Causes can be stress, depression, sleep apnea, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, insomnia, hypersomnolence, chemotherapy, lyme's disease, nutritional deficiencies, depersonalization disorder, mononucleosis, blood sugar abnormalities, thyroid abnormalities, severe hypertension, renal failure, anything that can cause low blood oxygen levels such as emphysema, copd, congestive heart failure, and chronically low blood pressure.Best wishes.

further to post re pulsatile tinitus. ct brain/cerviacal spine results said carotid arteries in neck much better than should be for age 63. no high b/p zero calcium heart ct no meds required. if move neck to left when lying in bed seems to trigger it?

: Thats better information. It is possible that your carotid artery or branches are getting kinked when you turn your head that way. The sound might have a whoosh at the end of the beat.   I assume some one listened to your neck/head and moved your head to the triggering position. Vessels get stiffer  as we age.

Great that you CT CA scan shows none.  Not likely to have heart attack-ever.

1000 mg calcium: About 1000 mg calcium from food andor supplements should be adequate.  The amount of vitamin d needed depends on how much 25ohd is in your blood.  If you are in the normal range 1000 iu of vitamin d3 daily may be enough.  If you are overweight more may be   needed.
