what is the process for bonding teeth?

There are two types: Direct bonding is when  layers of tooth-colored  filling material is applied  to a tooth by a dentist in one appointment. The dentist shapes and polishes the material to match the natural teeth as closely as possible.
Indirect bonding is when a dental lab makes a veneer which the dentist then bonds to the tooth. A veneer can be more durable, fit more accurately, and look more natural.

Very little: But that may not be the best option for you. If your teeth have been worn away from grinding, then the bonding will also be worn away or broken off rather quickly. You may be a candidate for porcelain restorations. Speak to your dentist.

Your : Your post did not say how long ago you had the bonding done. A day? A week? A month?

The bonding was done to change the appearance of your front teeth. They are now different to what your mouth had grown accustomed to.

If you are happy with the appearance, try to give it a little time for your lips and tongue to get comfortable. Having your dentist polish them again may also help a bit.

The alternative is to remove some of the bonding, but that will change the look.

Avoid : Avoid deeply colored foods, avoid habits such as pen, nail and ice chewing, and use a non-abrasive gel toothpaste.  Otherwise live a normal life and enjoy your good looking teeth.

The : The life expectancy of a bonding can vary depending on the application, the material and your personal home care.  Although you are using seven years as a guideline, many bondings can last well beyond that time.  If you feel as though they are still cosmetically pleasing and your dentist tells you that they are functionally intact, then they are fine and don't need replacement.

Molars: Your teeth do not grow once they are formed and erupted.  They can shift their position , super erupt or drift downward to fill a space but this is unpredictable. Talk to your dentist about your concerns about your posterior open bite.

No yes and no: You can not put enamel back on teeth but you can add bond composite to teeth,  in many cases composite would be adequate enough cosmetically and strong enough functionally but in some cases depending on the bite of the person veneers or crowns would be a stronger option.
