Not typically: What you are describing sounds more like a jaw joint problem.  See your Dentist for treatment or referral.  If you have cardiac concerns, better to be safe than sorry.  See your Physician to establish a baseline.

Heart not likely: Your symptoms are not typical for heart. Most likely they are musculoskeletal in origin with many other possible causes possible as well. Keeping a log with your symptoms, including activities may only help in trying to identify a possible pattern. Having workup should help in clarifying. Anxiety is usually part of the complex.

By : By the date of this post, almost a week has passed. If you have not seen a doctor already it is wise to do so. The symptoms you described can indicate angina, or myocardial infarction (mi, also known as heart attack). Also, your symptoms could have merely been due to an adverse effect of taking four 5 hour energy drinks. This high amount of caffeine can often mimic the signs of a mi. I recommend you cut down on these drinks so as to avoid any unwanted side effects.
Regardless you will need a work up, which will include an ekg (test that checks the electrical activity of your heart), this test can give an indication if there is concern for an mi or risk of one. 
After a detailed history, exam, and testing, your doctor will be able to give you a likely diagnosis and treatment plan.

How does one know?: Some people have those exact symptoms and are having angina, which can be chest pain due to not enough blood flow to the heart. It could be one&#x27;s guardian angel telling him to get checked out (meaning calling one&#x27;s primary care doctor now to see how urgent the problem is). It might not be the heart, or it could be fatal next time one goes jogging. Better safe than sorry.

Get EKG...: The only way to know for sure if your chest discomfort is a heart attack is to get an ekg when you are having the chest discomfort. Typically, the pain is located in the chest and can radiate into the jaw or left arm. Sometimes, the chest discomfort is defined as pressure, like something sitting on your chest. So, get an ekg to know for sure!

Heart attack: You can have a heart attack and have normal vital signs. There are many causes of chest pain that aren't the heart. If you smoke and  have high blood pressure you should be doing better taking care of yourself.

If your MD : Gave you a clearance based on clinical, stress test, and  diagnostic blood work-up , you must be in love :). Did you also got clearance from gastroesophageal reflux (gerd), hyperacidity, .?
