Denial: Denial is a very common emotion whether heart disease or other. You should talk with your doctor and gain a good understanding of what your heart problem is and what needs to be done about by you and by the Doc. If you can get yourself involved actively in taking care of yourself and trying to improve your situation, the denial could be turned into a positive force for life improvement and health

Coronary angiogram: Reversible ischemia means that when you exercise part of heart muscle is deprived of blood supply. You are not going to die, but should consult with a cardiologist to see if you need coronary angiogram. Your heart should be at resting stage. Avoid any exercise until you have the work up done. Stress test can be sometime wrong. At age 31 i dont expect you to have coronary artery disease.

Positive stress: A stress test is generally done to determine if heart disease symptoms are related to actual heart disease.  Sometimes people at risk for heart disease, but being prepared for stressful procedures like surgery, will have a stress test done.  If a stress test suggests ischemic heart disease, generally, further evaluation, like a heart cath, should be done to confirm its presence.

This means that the: EKG portion of your stress test had changes in the waveforms that have been known to be associated with blockages of the coronary arteries. Unfortunately, greater than 15% of the time this is inaccurate in women. Less than 5% of the time in men. This is why we always do stress testing in women along with nuclear imaging. If the nuclear imaging is negative then the EKG changes are FALSE positive.

: If your EKG during exercise showed ST segment depression, it is suspicious for blockage in the coronary circulation. If your symptoms warrant it, the definitive next tests would be a coronary angiogram or a CT scan angiogram with fractional flow reserve measurement to determine if you have significant coronary artery disease

: Need to check with the cardiologist who administered the test but, despite the absence of pain, this sounds like a positive stress test - there is inadequate blood supply to some portion of the heart. Need to check back with Cardiologist soon.
