rt. 10.3 x 3.8, lt. 11.2 x 4.2 
today it is rt. 9.7 x 3.7, lt 9.7 x 3.8 
is this normal pls help?

Yes: The kidney is responsible for excreting waste and maintaining salt and water balance among many other functions.These are performed by special cells with enzymes/proteins within the kidney at an ultrastructural level
the function of the kidney may be reduced even if the ultrasound is normal.Ultrasounds are useful to detect size and shape of kidneys and see if the urine flow is blocked.

my kidney function was not so good 5 months ago, but still in normal range, now on ultrasound, one kidney is 100mm and other 90mm, is this normal?

Normal size: The renal length varies with height and weight and decreases slowly with age. Right kidney is usually slightly smaller than the Left. Normal size ranges from 9-12 cm (90-120 mm)  and the difference in size should not exceed 2 cm. **So the size of the kidneys is normal. Besides size the texture of the kidney(Its "Ecogenicity") is often increased in chronic renal disease.

in 2020 right kidney is 10.3 cm. left is 10.4cm. in 2022 right kidney is 10.6cm and left is 11.4cm. is it normal for kidney size to increase over time? r my kidney size normal? what does a silver of fluid mean on ultrasound?

: Why were you getting your kidneys measured? This may just be a discrepancy between radiology reads. Ultrasound isn’t perfect for visualizing organs. I don’t know what you’re referring to regarding the fluid. Where is this located? Why are you even getting imaging? More context is required, so talk with the doc who ordered the image.

Calcifications: Calcifications in blood vessels can sometimes look like kidney stones. If your doctors are unclear about whether or not you have kidney stones they may want to do a CT scan which is a better test than US for detecting and diagnosing kidney stones.

Medical renal diseas: Ultrasound exam of kidneys can show dilatation of collecting system or hydronephrosis or medical renal disease involving parenchyma usually with increased echogenicity, brighter than normal. Sounds like possibly some medical problem as opposed to obstructive problem.Medical renal disease correlated with blood tests of function of kidneys.

i had a ultrasound of my bladder and kidneys and the report said "unremarkable scan" but it said "under-distended bladder" so would they see that ok?

Most likely OK: An under distended bladder on an ultrasound does not denote a problem. More often pathological lesions are better visualized on ultrasound when the bladder is full however.   If the ordering physician is concerned about a potential bladder lesion (tumor, stone, blood in urine, etc.) then cystoscopy should be performed by a urologist regardless of what the ultrasound shows.

Probably ok, but...: Ic is usually diagnosed by good history, physicals, ua, voiding pattern, voiding chart, etc. And rarely requires renal ultrasound. Once ultrasound shows "something" - hydronephrosis, so ct is done and normal. So, i would ignore the concern about the kidney, but focus on the concern over the bladder and other pelvic organs plus GI systems. So, with these in mind, go to see expert for detailing...

hi, i have had fevers and anemia (94g/l) for 2 years.i have protein+1 in my urine but my acr test was normal and my kidney ultrasound was normal. ?

Fevers: The cause of your anemian and fevers may lie elsewhere than in your kidneys. See an internist or a rheumatologist for a complete workup a visit to a hematologist may also be valuble.
