what do infected stitches look like and can there be a fever?

Infected stitches: Will look red, feel hot, look swollen around them, ± pus, ±fever, increased tenderness, pain. If in doubt, see doc for suture check & treatment if infxn has set in.

Stitches: Why do you still have stitches four   weeks after delivery?  I recommend you make an appointment with your doctor.

Stitches : A common medical saying with cuts is if you are thinking about stitches you need them.  It's hard to answer this without looking at the wound. Why is it not healing is the wound wide or infected?

my baby got injured while playing.he got wounded on his forehead and doctor told to stitch so that it cant look like a hole..... :)?

Question?: I'm not sure the question - if you son got a laceration and the physician recommended suturing it then I imagine that they did? There is a certain window of time when you can suture a laceration and if you seek care outside of that window it will need to heal as is.  "A hole" isn't how most lacs look after healing - they will scar and the larger cuts will have larger scars.

had a surgery to remove one testicle due to torsion+infection i dont know what the stitches should look like at the moment there is black blobs next to the stitches i think they have been there since the surgery but not sure also the area is itchy?

: An incision can get itchy as it heals. The “black blobs” next to the sutures may be some dried blood or even small scabs. Call your surgeon if you have a fever, pain in the area is worsening, increased swelling or bleeding. Hopefully, you have a post-op visit coming up soon but if you have concerns, call your surgeon. Having discomfort: in the area of surgery/ sutures two days after an oral surgery procedure is not unusual.

Pinched nerve: Sharp, fleeting chest pains on deep breathing are usually due to a pinched intercostal nerve or muscle that runs between 2 ribs. These pinched nerves usually resolve after a few days. Avoid straining your rib cage until symptoms resolve. See your physician as needed if symptoms persist or worsen.

Splenic Flexure: Is the curve of large bowel which comes up (the ascending colon #1) from the small bowel and takes a turn across your body (transverse colon#2)....IT TENDS TO COLLECT A GAS BUBBLE...which distends the bowel thus causing pain!
