Question?: I'm not sure the question - if you son got a laceration and the physician recommended suturing it then I imagine that they did? There is a certain window of time when you can suture a laceration and if you seek care outside of that window it will need to heal as is. "A hole" isn't how most lacs look after healing - they will scar and the larger cuts will have larger scars.
