I have like a stitch sensation / feeling on my side and it's made worse with breathing

Pinched nerve: Sharp, fleeting chest pains on deep breathing are usually due to a pinched intercostal nerve or muscle that runs between 2 ribs. These pinched nerves usually resolve after a few days. Avoid straining your rib cage until symptoms resolve. See your physician as needed if symptoms persist or worsen.

Pleurisy vs ETAP: A "stitch sensation" could be a number of things. If this is occurring with exercise, it could be what is called an Exercise Induced Transient Abdominal pain (which we think may be due to lowered oxygen to the bowel or abdominal muscles or increased lactic acid production). If it is not occurring with exercise, it could be Pleurisy or Chest Wall Pain. Recommend if does not improve, see your Doc
