See your doctor.: No 18-year-old should have persistent symptoms of chest pain and palpitations with exertion. If you have not already seen your family physician, now is the time. I would think that you should have at least an EKG and maybe a stress test. Good luck.

Rsd classically involves extremities but there have been documented cases of axial(midline) involvement.
