Yes: Fleas are arthropods that can be visible to the naked eye. Scabies are small mites that would be difficult to see without the use of a magnified lens.

Yes: A flea is hard, shiny, dark ; 1/8” longer. Bigger after feeding. Flea larvae are 1/4” ; look like light colored worms with bristles.
