Wound professionals: It is not clear what you mean by a "wound technician".  There are multiple opportunities with  wound care under many different  professions.

i had a nurse say i had a fever. i was wondering if  my thinking can cause the thing they use to determine if you have a fever can cause a fever when you don't have a fever ?

No: No, the thing they use to check for fever (called a thermometer) cannot cause a fever in you. So, whether you have a fever or not has nothing to do with the thing they used to measure you temperature.

dysuria with no cause, and nurse can't figure out what is wrong?

Consider I.C.: Interstitial cystitis, i.C. Is often difficult to diagnose. Usually the patient has seen several doctors prior to getting the diagnosis.  It can cause pain with urination and especially pain with bladder filling. It can cause pain with intercourse and usually requires cystoscopy to help with the diagnosis.  Diet has a pretty significant impact on it.  Even without i.C., diet can affect dysuria.

can you tell me for what cause of tension pneumothorax should a nurse check?

Many causes: If the pneumothorax creates a lot of pressure/air buildup in the chest, it can compress the veins draining into the heart and cause the heart to stop beating. This is called Tension Pneumothorax, and it is a medical emergency. If not promptly treated, it can cause death.

As far as causes, it can be out of nowhere (called spontaneous), or as a complication of a procedure like a central line.

the nurse has always given my blood test results over phone.ive been asked to come in to discuss my current results.is this cause for alarm?

not always: In my practice, we usually give out blood test results  over the phone, but also have the patients come in periodically to monitor medications for side effects, compliance, etc. While i don't know your specific situation, I do not think it is unusual or unwarranted to ask the patient  to come in periodically to discuss test results.

please advise on what to do whether i can go back ?

Stomach?: There are details needed to help you. Can you provide more details about your stomach?  Did you have diarrhea, nausea vomiting, pain?

Yes: It happens often with patients.  Nurses are aware of this and it's usually not a problem since it's not usually voluntary.

can using b12 injections for a long time cause cancer? i like b12 injection which is done by a woman nurse. i'm on it since 4 years. is it dangerous?

NO but why use it???: Indiscriminate use of B12 injections is ill advised. Unless you have a medical reason(?deficiency) I would advise you to stop it before you create a new problem...No injections are entirely safe.

Hookah: Be kind to yourself and your baby - DO NOT TAKE ANY HOOKAH and preferably no smoking.

mil rubs 13 week old stomach fast & hard/rough when hes lying down to point he cries. could this hurt him, cause shaken baby syndrome? she is a nurse

Slow and soft: Rubbing the stomach of an infant can help with gas and bowel movements. The motion should be soft and in small circles in a counter clockwise pattern. This can help with the natural motion/stimulation of the gut. Hard or aggressive rubbing is likely uncomfortable for the child and should be avoided. It is not likely to cause shaken baby syndrome, but should be avoided.
