Push ups = good: Whether you do wide grip, narrow grip, isometric, incline or decline pushups, they are a good form of exercise.  Pushups work your triceps, shoulders, abdominals, back muscles and chest.  Doing pushups can help with strength and metabolic rate. However, it is best to a varied exercise routine.

Pecs/ triceps: 'Wide' based push-ups work more pec major muscle group and some triceps. As you 'narrow' your push-up base the triceps muscle works more ... I would think any upper body workout such as push-ups would be helpful for strength for boxing . Best of Luck!

No: However, if your pectoralis group gets really big, the breast region will be more prominent, but the gland itself should not change.  Gynecomastia is not infrequent in normal people.

Pecs major: The more narrow the grip, the more the triceps are worked in preference to the pecs, though both are worked in all pushups. These are great for boxing, especially for your hooks. The key muscle for boxing is your heart -- as a ringside physician, I've seen how the more aerobically fit boxer usually wins.

Yes: But it would help to add other resistance training and strength training.

Lean protein/fibef: Push-ups, sit-ups, and a lot of walking

Getting stronger: If you are not fatiguing as easily while exercising that means you are succeeding. Depending on what you are trying to achieve with your work outs, either increase the number of repetitions or increase the resistance by switching to weights.

Plank position &amp; pus: assume a plank position and push body up keeping back flat and arms apart

i've been reading that thc is stored in fat cell, and only time will work, what about drinking creatine(burnsfatcells) and push ups etc?

Nope. Still there.: Creatine and push ups won't help you pass a drug test.  But, you know what will?  Not doing drugs anymore.  THC gets leached from your fat cells intermittently for weeks to months.

for years my wrist hurts when i do push ups, i think it's from an old snowboarding injury. is there anything i can do to fix it, not just work around?

XRay: You need an xray and evaluation to know for sure. Treatment would depend on cause. Multiple possibilities including ligament tears and even previously undetected fracture of carpal bone such as the scaphoid.
