what cream do i use to treat skin fungal on my shoulders?

SEVERAL OTC: First, are you sure it's 'ring worm' (fungal infection)?
Tinea corporis (skin fungus) is a superficial dermatophyte infection. Several over-the-counter creams are helpful but Lamisil (terbinafine) (or generic) tends to work the best due to it's cidal (fungal killing) action.  A low potency steroid (hydrocortisone 1% or cortaid) can be added if there is moderate redness (inflammation) hope you are better soon.

Skin Irritation: Anti fungal creams do not treat inflammation. You need to use a mild cortisone cream like Hydrocortisone or the prescription Cloderm or Locoid (hydrocortisone butyrate) lotion in the groin.

Well clotrimazole: is safe to use, but it is important to use correct topicals for specific disorder. So if you have candidal infections, and certain other fungi it will be fine, but if not improving you need to see doctor for correct diagnosis and treatment

i had fungal infection on thighs and armpits they are now cured however left dark patches where i had the infection, which cream should i use to lighten these dark skin patches??

Time/lightening crea: The dark patches left over from your infection should lighten over time. If you are interested in lightening these area, use a dermatologically tested  skin lightening cream available at any pharmacy. Avoid using household bleach or other caustic home remedies which can reirritate the skin and cause a return of the fungal infection.

Moisturizers: with or without low dose hydrocortisone will probably be more helpful than an antifungal cream, unless you actually have a fungal infection.  Mixtures of Eucerin cream and hydrocortisone are usually very helpful for treatment of dry, itchy skin.  Preventing the rash/irritation of the skin would be best. Try shaving well legs are damp (right after getting out of shower), and use a shaving gel/form.

Groin rash: I still would try applying a cream like mycolog which combines an antifungal with a corticosteroid. Also it's important to avoid tight fitting jeans or slacks. In addition I recommend wearing loose white cotton undershorts.  Friction and moisture favor yeast infections. If no improvement, consult a dermatologist for diagnosis and treatment.

Tinea cruris: It is very unlikely that zinc containing diaper rash cream or alcohol discolored your skin, and you will need an antifungal cream.  See your primary care doctor.

When in doubt-Mix.: Mix the Lamisil (terbinafine) with a small amount of topical antibiotic (Neosporin).

You can use it: This is a combination cream that includes a steroid and anti fungal. It is safe for short term use in the groin. It will not impact hormone synthesis.
