Ear/Sinus Infection: An ear infection or sinus infection will cause facial pain which can cause pain in the ear or the eye. Taping on the face will elicit pain if the sinus is infected. An ear infection will usually have discharge or pain when pullin on the ear.

Nerves/virus: Could be a pinched nerve, shingles, sinus infection,  a medical evaluation is needed.

: The left sided headache symptoms described could be due to a number of conditions of which Migraine or left sided Trigeminal neuralgia seem prominent. The PCP can help but one may need to see the Neurologist as well.

Migraines: IIH may be red herring and  symptoms are more indicative of migraines. Try prophylactic treatment for migraines. Discuss with your neurologist.

Pain above ear: Pain above ear can be due to many things. Do you have a headache as well? Do you have pain in the eye also when you move your eye? Any hearing loss? We can help solve the mystery but need more information.

: Sounds most consistent with sinus issues---fullness and pressure. The sinuses surround rhe orbit so "eye pain" is frequent. The red squiggly lines are subconjunctival blood vessels. An evaluation with an ENT with imaging that includes the sinuses and orbit (to rule out orbital pathology) is a good idea.

TMJ TMD: Temporo-mandibular disorder is the second most frequent cause of orofacial pain after dental pain. Stiff neck, headaches, earache and face numbness are associated symptoms of TMD. Proper diagnosis is the key for the successful treatment. See an orofacial pain practitioner for a consultation and management.

what could cause ear pain and pain behind eye on left side? i occasionally get pressure sensation in my cheek sinus but i am not congested and dont have an infection/fever. my neck is sore to move and ears pop when i swallow?

Couple of ideas: These could be ice pick headaches (are they sharp?), or they could be related to SUNCT syndrome, or they could be related to blood flow (does chewing make the temple feel worse?).  So far, there is not enough information to decide, but these are some ideas.

i hit the top of my head three weeks ago and was diagnosed with a concussion. headaches come and go but i am largely suffering from left ear pain that causes dizziness and other sources of pain. why might this be/what can i do to resolve it?
