I keep having on and off pain behind, in front and above left ear. left temple pain and left eye pain, occasionally. only lasts a few seconds.

Couple of ideas: These could be ice pick headaches (are they sharp?), or they could be related to SUNCT syndrome, or they could be related to blood flow (does chewing make the temple feel worse?). So far, there is not enough information to decide, but these are some ideas.

TMJ?: Possible TMJ. See ENT doc. If TM?J, see TMJ expert. Any dentist can be a TMJ expert with the proper training and experience. Most commonly, oral surgeons, prosthodontists, and orofacial pain specialists. Ask your MD, your dentist and your dental society for referrals.
