Possible?: People who have the vascular subtype of ehlers-danlos syndrome often share distinctive facial features of a thin nose, thin upper lip, small earlobes and prominent eyes. They also have thin, translucent skin that bruises very easily. In fair-skinned people, the underlying blood vessels are very visible through the skin.

Yes and No: The older we get, the more sun damage occurs and the more fragility of the skin takes over.  Often people get easy bruising on the arms due to chronic long-term sun exposure and damage.  This is called actinic purpura or senile purpura.  However, there are some more serious causes of a problem like this.  I would have your doctor or dermatologist take a look.

Use weights: Depending on your age and strength, use weights to do arm exercises--certain exercises build up your biceps and others your triceps.   Start with 10 lb weights if you have never done it before and do 15 repetitions. Use internet to look up how.   Also good nutrition, make sure you take in a balanced diet of whole grain, fruits, vegetables, and lean protein which will help build healthy muscle.

No as disc space : Narrowing is a sign of us aging in terms of the spine which has been demonstrated to begin as early as 10 years of age with males showing signs on x-rays at an earlier age than females with smoking accelerating these changes  as well as trauma and genetic basis.  Don't sweat over the minor pain

Bruising: Consider connective tissue disorder, anticoagulation from blood thinners, excess vitamin e, vasculitis, dermatitis, varicose veins, or more rare conditions of the dermis such as epidermolysis bullosa.

Vasodilation: One cause would be dilatation of skin capillaries by certain medications or vitamin(like niacin) or alcohol. Another less common cause would be release of hormones or substances like histamine or serotonin by the body. Carcinoid tumors would be one example. Overactive thyroid is another possibility. See an endocrinologist if you have further concern.

Spine problem: You may be compressing a nerve root in your spine when you arch your back in the manner you describe.  You should see a neurologist who may need to order an MRI or ct scan to see why this happens: disc disease, tumor, bone growth, etc.  Until you are seen and evaluated, try not to stretch in that manner, and do not see a chiropracter.

Irreversible: Typically the thinning of skin by high dose topical steroids is not reversible.  Also, hydrocortisone is not usually thought of as high potency.  It would be helpful to see a dermatologist for further evaluation.
