Abdominal pain.: This could be a number of different causes.  It could relate to acid reflux/peptic ulcer disease, gallbladder dysfunction, dyspepsia, constipation, h. Pylori infection, or just functional disorder.  If symptoms persist and worsened, suggest to discuss more in details in a local physician.

after experiencing asthmatic symptoms i was diagnosed with lung hyperinflation. could this cause moderate, persistent lower stomach pain? bloating? constipation? pain doesnt respond to otc medication or home remedies, which is unusual for me?

Some basics: Hyperinflation is a description not a diagnosis. It is seen on chest x-ray of an asthmatic whose lungs have trapped some air during a symptomatic period. It self resolves as symptoms improve. It has little to do with the cited symptoms. They are more likely diet or digestive system issues. Please discuss this with your doc &amp; start a food diary so you can identify what aggrivates the symptoms.

Left lower abdomen: You could have an incarcerated hernia.  Hopefully, it is not strangulating from your description.  Better have it checked ASAP.  You can check about your chest pain then.  Doubt it is an item of real severity.  Of consideration, have you been coughing a lot lately? H/o of asthma?  Brochitis?  It can be related to your develop of your hernia.

Descending colon: I would worry Pelvic Inflammatory Disease disease, if sexually active. Other considerations are:  parasites, ulcerative colitis or non-specific colitis in your age group.  Do you have fever? Diarrhea? Bloody? Nausea? This is potentially serious and you should seek medical help: Gaborone. (aside: your country is very beautiful-I visited it last month).

Pain upper abdomen: Not knowing if this is constant or related to food  your pain appears to be in the upper abdomen with referred pain to sternum , fullness and tenderness. Stomache and Gall bladder disease can occur at your age depending on weight, eating habits and lipid levels.  You need to see a Gastro Enterologist and get a checkup for blood in stool, ultrasound abdomen, CT scan &amp; upper GI studies. Good luck

Imaging: Will likely be needed. Among others, gallbladder abnormalities along with non-infectious liver issues will need to be ruled out. Talk to your doc about the persistence of your symptoms. Discomfort pattern will be also critical, related or not to meals, continuous/on/off, pulsatile, etc.

Painful "lump" ?: If the "painful lump" is in the midline below the rib cage, it may be an umbilical hernia with trapped fat or even small intestine. See a general surgeon for evaluation.

Yes you can: Gerd s will give those symptoms , due to regurgitation of gastric contents into esophagus ,  size of hernia has no correlation , big or small h hernia , some times big hernia may not even give symptoms  ( gerd s).

: The symptoms you describe are not likely caused by low amounts of acid in the stomach. The symptoms you describe, however, are often seen in individuals with gastroesophageal reflux. There are other possibilities as well that may need explored.
