Acid: Most likely culprit is stomach acid. However, bile from the intestine can also cause inflammation in the stomach and esophagus.

Stomach emptying.: Slow emptying of the stomach shouldn’t be caused by any of those things.  Could be a separate issue entirely.  But rather than diagnose this by endoscopy, it would be wise to pursue more functional than anatomical testing with your Gastroenterologist.

Gastritis: Esophagitis and erosive antral gastritis is usually caused by excess acid secretion, and is related to stress.  The medications will usually help but to not "cure" the problem.  Try to identify the stress causes, and see your healthcare provider to refer you to a specialist. Certain bacteria (Heliobacter) can make this condition continue, so another treatment may benefit you.

Esophagitis.: The presence of esophagitis suggests that you might have a hiatal hernia. This can cause regurgitation of food out of the stomach and back up into the esophagus.

Recurring : If the nissan is not working then your symptoms of reflux can return. The other option is the nissan is to tight and food sits above it and ferments causing reflux. Either way should get a endoscopy and upper hi x-ray to evaluate anatomy.

If  gastroparesis: High prevalence of GI manifestations  including severe chronic constipation , irritable bowel syndrome , acid reflux or gastroesophageal reflux disease, and/or chronic abdominal pain . Gastroparesis , slow gastric emptying, is also seen. If this is present as well as reflux then medication has to be taken to speed up stomach. Gastroparesis is usually diagnosed by nuclear gastric emptying test.

woke up on the middle of the night feeling nauseous and have sour taste in mouth, throat felt clogged with saliva. i have a hiatal hernia, esophagitis and gastritis, could that be the cause?

: Usually a sour taste is due to the reflux of acid from the stomach caused by a hiatal hernia.  You mentioned a hiatal hernia, esophagitis and gastritis.  Those diagnoses apparently came from some physician.  Make sure that that physician is aware of the symptoms so that it can be properly treated.

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. 
The tests may have been done too soon to be positive, despite an infection. It would be prudent to see a hematologist.

More info needed: Several things can cause such problems. How serious it is, the best treatment, and likelihood of cure depends on which cause -- e.g. Helicobacter pylori infection, irritating drugs if you're on medication, excess alcohol, yeast or fungal infection if you have some sort of immune deficiency, and more. Discuss causes and treatment with the doctor who diagnosed you. Good luck.
