See specialist : The cavernous sinus is a small area in the center of your head through which some of the cranial nerves pass. A mass there may or may not cause symptoms. It's best to see a neurosurgeon or a skull base surgeon to decide whether anything needs to be done.

Quit worrying: Nystagmus is a common side effect of benzodiazepines, of which xanax (alprazolam) is one. Changes in equilibrium can come from too much xanax (alprazolam) or combining it with another drug.
