Lubricate: Just a mucoid discharge in the morning is a sign of dry eye. Low-grade infection and allergic conjunctivitis can also cause this but would be associated with additional symptoms. A bland ophthalmic ointment used in both eyes at bedtime should help, and is unlikely to cause harm if you are not allergic to the ingredients.

Warm water rinses: This symptom is most often caused by blepharitis, a very common chronic inflammation of the eyelids, of usually uknown cause. Could also be "allergies". Try rinsing your eyes several times a day with warm water, i.e. In front of a sink, or in the shower. If the symptoms persist, see an eye md (ophthalmologist) for diagnosis and treatment advice.

Crusty rolling eyes: Crusting is a non-specific sign of eye irritation.  It can be seen in dry eye, blepharitis, viral/bacterial conjunctivitis, and many other issues.  This is usually not associated with the eyes rolling back so i would recommend seeing an eye doctor for a complete evaluation.

Probably dry: The most common reason for eyes to be crusty and full of debris in the mornings only is dryness which is exaggerated at night when the tear flow drops during sleep.   If you do not have visual changes, pain, redness or swelling, then this is the likely reason.  You might try applying otc eye ointment in each eye just before sleep.

It depends: You may have conjunctivitis.  It can be viral, bacterial or allergic.  If your secretion is thick, yellow and green then its bacterial.  You need to see your eye doc asap to get antibiotic treatment.  The viral conjunctivitis usually associated with cold or flue.  Allergic conjunctivitis can be itchy.  Its better to see your eye doc for a better assessment and treatment.

he has a congested nose and nasal drip (green colored snots, very thick). when he coughs it sounds barky. he has crusty eyes in the morn?

Rhinosinusitis: You have appropriately waited for greater than 10 days, but persistence, worsening symptoms and change in discharge make this more likely that things are turning into a bacterial process. Not likely allergy: While allergy to a component of alcohol can happen, it is exceedingly rare.  Food allergies also cause very specific symptoms in an immediate manner.  You likely are experiencing effects of dehydration and "hangover.".

Sinusitis?: Sounds like you may have a sinus infection. Regardless sore throat and green mucus for 2 weeks deserves a trip to the doctor.  I suspect you are going to need antibiotics.  Good luck.
