Possible: It's possible, althouth most fibroids do not cause any symptoms. If they are large, they can press up against other organs or muscles in the pelvis, causing discomfort.

the muscles in the back of my leg have been sore lately. what is the cause?

Several possibilitie: It could be the result of recent activities and you have made the muscles sore from exercise (mountain climbing, stairs, etc.) or could be from medications that cause muscle soreness.  There could be a bruise from a direct blow.  You could possibly have a clot in the calf and this is serious.  There are other less common causes of leg muscle soreness.  If concerned see your pcp right away.

Not significantly: Blood vessel blood flow is not significantly affected by muscle tension unless something artificial  is constricting the area as the blood vessels are not compressed by muscles unless they are structurally distorted. However tension of the muscles within blood vessel walls can affect blood flow.

woke up left heel pain, left hip also sore, feels like sore muscles, also feel pull down back of leg to heel. can my lower disc probs cause this?

Exam needed: The heel discomfort is suspicious of inflammation of the heel fascia(plantar fasciitis), but the hip,?buttock discomfort and back of leg discomfort can be caused by a lumbar disc pressing on a nerve root. If you can take them,NSAIDS like ibuprofen and rest may help. See an orthopedic surgeon or neurologist if symptoms persist.

having lower back pain along with leg aches/ numbness and slight weakness for two weeks muscles are very tight and twitch. this happened a few days after a very long 15 hour car ride, and a week later another 15 car drive. likely cause?

Sciatica: While sciatica is common, this may well represent a radiculopathy (nerve root irritation). You will require a full examination with x Ray and or EMG to determine  if there is  nerve/muscle damage from spinal compression, peripheral nerve disease, or other cause of your symptoms. If you need to take another long ride, use a lumbar bolster and raise knees higher than hip joint with Foot lift.

Possible reasons for: This presentation include a hip, back or sacroiliac (si) joint issue.  Try some otc meds if no contraindications and if no better, see your doctor for evaluation and treatment recommendations.

: Typically, this is common and due to strain from athletic events.  Stretching will help, as will persistence of ambulation.  If this worsens or spreads, or if your urine changes color, contact your physician, but highly unlikely that this represents a disease or muscle damage.

Night leg  cramps: This could be nocturnal leg cramps. We used to recommend quinine at bedtime to prevent these. The fda now does not allow this on the market for nocturnal leg cramps. It used to work in an excellent manner. I do not support the fda's exclusion your best therapy now is to stretch your legs before bedtime. This can be effective in preventing these leg cramps.
