Depends: It would depend on the severity of the tear, your overall health, your prescribed therapy and your own inate ability to heal.  It could be anywhere from a couple of weeks to 6 weeks or more.  Get a good evaluation from an orthopedist or a sports medicine specialist and perhaps a physical therapist  dealing with sports injuries.

Warm soaks, calcium supplements or foods, and rest will likely accompany resolution.  Continuance after a week or so, worsening, or occurrence of other symptoms might suggest a doctor visit.

Heat: Try to heat the area and then passive stretching exercises this will help you but will take a few days. Also could take soaringly over the counter a level or iboprophen but not consistently

Muscle pull : Your supposition needs to be questioned. Is this a pulled muscle?  Muscle pain can come from muscle strains, nerve problems, muscle disease, or metabolic problems. See a doctor in person for the answer

Ext. unlikely: You are young and know your body better than anyone ; however if your pain/ impairment continue i would suggest seeing an ors ( orthopedic surgeon)... Sometimes other diagnoses ( shoulder instability ) are more common.Good luck !

Depends on the cause: but anti-inflammatory will help for the most part. If dehydration is involved fluids and magnesium could help.  Heat or cold can help but honestly it is what makes you feel better. Stretching and massage could help.
