Many: Outside hip pain can be caused by bursitis, muscle strains, tendonitis, it band dysfunction, referred from the spine.  Inner hip (groin) pain can be related to problems in the hip joint (ball and socket) and/or referred from the pelvis organs and other places.  Go see your doctor.

Tnr: Pain in the back is from si joint irritation, you favoring an affected side and shift weight while walking on the other side, if you won't resolve the knee issue pain in the back will stay, see a pain specialist in your area, ask to check your hamstring muscle.

Yes.: Sleeping partially tilted to the left or at a partially upright angle is fine. Although we prefer the left side, you may also sleep on your right side. The main idea is to not sleep flat on your back. Also try a pillow under your hips.

Depends: It depends where the cyst is. If it is in the facet joint or ligamentum flavum or along the nerve root, then it can cause hip pain and "sciatica" also known as radiculopathy.

Limb length,rotation: This is possibly due to a limb length difference or a rotated pelvis or hip. When walking or standing this puts a strain on the butt muscles or hip abductors. Can develop or discover this at your age is not uncommon. Someone trained in biomechanics , physical therapist, podiatrist   Muscle strengthening is a benefit but not necessarily resolve the problem.

Exam needed: The heel discomfort is suspicious of inflammation of the heel fascia(plantar fasciitis), but the hip,?buttock discomfort and back of leg discomfort can be caused by a lumbar disc pressing on a nerve root. If you can take them,NSAIDS like ibuprofen and rest may help. See an orthopedic surgeon or neurologist if symptoms persist.
