hi, i broke my ankle on 20/7.. i had surgery on it on 24/7 plates and screws inserted. however at night i get a burning sensation. is this normal?

Can be: The nerve endings were injured or disturbed during surgery and sensations like those can go on for months. This isn't serious as long as there is no redness,New swelling or increasing pain.

Varies: Everyone is different and if you have any questions you should check with your doctor.  All that being said, an average patient with the injury you are describing "should" be able to drive by about 12weeks and certainly by 5 months. There is a wide: Variation in sexual response and preferences.  If your sex drive makes you wonder please ask your doc to check your hormones.  There may also be a psychological component. It depends: It depends. You should consult with your physician.  How do you know that your pins and screws are overlapping.  On x-ray sometime it appears to be that pins are overlapping when they are not. Are you having any symptoms like pain or swelling? Check with your surgeon for advice.V.

Heavy metal: That's a lot of hardware for a foot, so it sounds like you either sustained a serious injury with multiple fractures, or you had major reconstruction.  Removal of hardware is usually an attempt to treat residual pain, but it is not always successful.  Arthritis, scar tissue, and neuritis can still persist.  May need more physical therapy or more aggressive pain management.
